A product photo helps you choose a design. A good purchase also depends on fit, timing, and knowing what happens after checkout. Use this guide to check the details before ordering made-to-order clothing or accessories.
What made to order means at Macke
The Macke Corp. sells original branded apparel and everyday accessories. Products are made to order through Printify and its print providers. The Macke Corp. is your seller and handles customer support. Our business is based in Queens, New York; that does not mean every product is manufactured or shipped from New York. Production locations and delivery options vary by item and provider.
Check the exact product’s size chart
Two T-shirts can have different cuts, fabrics, and measurements. Check whether the size chart describes body measurements or the finished garment. For garment measurements, lay a similar item you already like flat and measure the same points shown in the chart. For body measurements, follow the chart’s instructions instead. Do not assume your usual size will fit every product the same way.
For example, if you want to wear a hoodie over another layer, compare the chart with a hoodie that already fits comfortably over that layer. A chest width measured flat is not the same as a body circumference. If the units or measurement points are unclear, ask before ordering rather than guessing.
Choose accessories around what you carry
For a tote, list the items you expect to carry: a lunch container, notebook, sweater, or light shopping. Compare their dimensions with the bag’s listed measurements and opening. Consider handle length and whether you prefer to carry the bag by hand or over your shoulder. A photograph alone does not confirm capacity, load limits, or laptop compatibility.
For a mug, check its stated capacity and product-specific care instructions. Do not assume that all printed finishes are suitable for the same cleaning methods. If dishwasher or microwave suitability matters to you and is not stated, treat it as unconfirmed and ask.
Separate production time from shipping time
Made-to-order delivery has two stages: producing the item and transporting it. Check whether an estimate includes both. Faster shipping does not automatically shorten production. A tracking number may be created before a carrier has received the parcel, so read the tracking status rather than assuming the package is already moving.
If you need an item for a birthday, trip, or event, review the current shipping policy and ask about timing before buying. An estimate is not a guarantee unless explicitly stated. Leave room for uncertainty instead of planning around the earliest possible arrival date.
Understand returns before checkout
A change of mind, a fit preference, a wrong item, and a damaged print are different situations. Read the current return and refund policy for the applicable conditions and contact process. Do not assume another retailer’s return window or a production provider’s terms apply to your purchase here.
Keep your order confirmation. If an item arrives incorrectly or damaged, contact The Macke Corp. with the order number, the affected item, and a clear description. Photos can help explain a visible problem. Do not send full payment-card details by email. Support needs to review the situation before confirming an available resolution.

A practical check with two Macke products
Consider a Macke Pink Graphic Garment-Dyed T-Shirt and a Macke Logo 11 oz Ceramic Mug. They need different checks. For the shirt, select a color and size, then compare the exact garment measurements with a shirt you already wear. Our T-shirt measuring guide explains that comparison. For the mug, the listed 11 oz capacity is about 325 mL; that number alone does not tell you its external dimensions or whether it fits your cup holder.
Check what the design includes, too. The mug listing offers the pictured design and does not offer personalization. A branded design is not automatically an invitation to add a name or change the artwork. Ask before paying if you need something the listing does not offer.
Read the cart as a second checklist
After adding the items, confirm the shirt’s color and size and the mug’s capacity in the cart. If you change a quantity, check both the line total and subtotal again. A product page’s “from” price may describe the lowest-priced option, so use the price for your selected variant.
The merchandise subtotal is not necessarily the final amount due. Review the shipping charge and any applicable tax after entering the required checkout details. Compare the shipping charge with our Shipping Policy. If something differs, stop and ask support before placing the order. Review our Returns and Refunds policy before choosing a size, especially when buying a gift.
These examples explain how to read the listings and cart; they are not hands-on product reviews or guarantees of fit or delivery.
